World Changers – Day it Ended

DSCF5755Yeah I know…tomorrow is the official last day of the trip, but today we finished projects!  In total, 19 World Changer crews finished 23 projects in and around Franklinton, Louisiana!  The students did AWESOME!  They stretched themselves and made people’s lives change forever!DSCF5878

Today I spent the work day with Rebekah and Tyler and the ‘Glueless’ crew!  We went to Mr. Marvin’s house and did some painting.  We got a little scared (okay really just me) because of his 4 pit bull dogs in the back yard, but we worked hard and got his awning painted and some of the trim around his house!  I spent a little time talking with him and he was most appreciative of the efforts of the students!

DSCF5880Tonight’s worship was incredible!  After challenging the students to answer God’s call on their life, I asked the youth ministers and leaders to come down be in front ready to pray and talk with their students.  After issuing an altar call, student after student came down to pray, dedicate their lives to God (some for the first time) and some to surrender into ministry.  It was incredible to see the aisles fill with people praying!

I cannot wait to give you more insight into the trip!  Join us Sunday night at 6 at the Casa View location to see and hear more about all of what God did this week!  See you at home!
