Today is the day. I cannot be happier that this day is here. People are at this very moment getting ready for the event. Trunk or Treat should prove to be a momumental event for our church. It is my hope that this time next year, I am blogging about people that have come to [...]

Such a small vision…
We have only a few days to go until our church’s Trunk or Treat event. Man…this thing is getting crazier by the minute. We have something brewing here. I am not sure how many people will be coming, but the buzz is out there! I am praying for 1000s of people to turn out for [...]

You cant give ‘em what you dont have!
I recently saw a Twitter requesting leadership insight to feed hungry leaders. He may not have directed that comment at me, but it made me think about my leadership…thus…I thought I’d jot a few thoughts down.
I have a hard time in leadership sometimes. If I am honest, I know that there are times, too many [...]

82-18
No that wasnt how bad the Cowboys lost today…although they did lose today. 82-18 represents the percentage that our church voted to relocate the church out toward the east. Amazing outcome! I am pumped. I know there are those that are scared, worried, confused, but they are all natural reactions/concerns.

Change = Challenges
I have been working on something that I have talked about for a while, but have never really done…at least whole-heartedly. And that is…BUDGET! For WAY TOO long I have been a spend what you have…and sometimes spend what I dont have…kind of guy. And wouldn’t you know…it caught up with me!
So today, when I [...]

They are seeing 1000s of people come to know Christ. It is amazing to read their blogs, explore their websites, and read their thoughts on church, politics, and [...]

I love my kids!
Well today is the 13th of October. Not a necessarily important day for the rest of the world, but for me it is. It’s the day between my kids birthday. And how I love them.
Lilah Gean…6: If you ever need a smile…my daughter can do just that…put a smile on your face. Yesterday she turned [...]

Economy…what economy?
I wonder how long it will take for people to realize that instead of competition, maybe (just maybe) it’s time that we work together to solve the nation’s economic crisis. And I hope that day happens before I wake up with “Bones” at my door screaming for every penny I owe for my car, my [...]

A lot to think about.
Tonight was great at student worship. Our numbers are still down. I need to toy with some ideas on what we might do to get more students there. There’s just soo much going on…we are competing with a bunch of stuff. But we’ll figure it out.
Talking with our students tonight. We were talking about creation. [...]

Pastor Appreciation Month
I was checking out a pastor’s blog and he was writing thanks to his members for writing letters and cards to him for Pastor Appreciate Month.
So I thought I’d share my appreciation for my pastor with you. Things I appreciate about my pastor:
He prays – It’s awesome to walk past his office and see him [...]
